A homeowner cleaning up after a basement backup wanted the sewer fixed without losing the trees over it. TSR burst in a new line the same day.
The call came from a Canoga Park homeowner who had just finished cleaning up a sewage backup in his basement. He knew the pipe ran under mature trees and had no interest in cutting them down to reach it.
TSR's camera inspection found a large crack in the cast iron lateral. Because the pipe's alignment was sound, it was a straightforward candidate for pipe bursting.
Work started immediately. The crew burst out all 55 feet of cast iron and pulled in new HDPE, working from two small pits well clear of the root zones. The trees stayed, the basement stayed dry, and the homeowner said he would be sending his neighbors TSR's way.
