A homebuilder's due diligence on a Riverside development found separations at every joint of a 390-foot, 8-inch Mission Clay main. TSR lined it and reinstated all 38 lateral tie-ins with a robotic cutter, in about five days.
A homebuilding company was purchasing a partially built residential community in Riverside and wanted the sewer infrastructure verified before closing. The on-site manager asked TSR to inspect roughly 400 feet of 8-inch main.
The camera survey showed Mission Clay pipe, common in the area, with a small separation at every ten-foot joint. Individually minor; collectively, exactly what a buyer does not want to inherit. The measured length came to 390 feet.
TSR installed a cured-in-place liner through the full 390 feet of 8-inch main, sealing every joint. The line had 38 lateral connections, and rather than excavating each one to reconnect it, TSR used a robotic cutter inside the lined pipe to reopen every tie-in from within.
The entire rehabilitation took about five days with no trenching along the street. This is the kind of larger-diameter, multi-connection work TSR handles alongside residential laterals, and the builder has since engaged the crew for further projects.
